Why Are You Running For Office?

I’m running for Public Administrator because it’s an office with only one agenda: to take care of others with compassion and kindness. I am the most qualified candidate to serve in this position, as I have worked in health care as both a Naval Hospital Corpsman and private hospitals. My time in health care has taught me how to truly serve those who need help, which is what I want to do.

Why Are You Running For Office?

Having the opportunity to provide managerial services for property owners has been rewarding and has allowed me to continue a long history of helping others whenever possible. It is the desire as well as the life long respect for the elderly that has led me to run for Public Administrator. I’m confident, if given the opportunity, that I can bring my strong and disciplined work ethic to this office to help those placed as wards of the Administrator.

Brief Summary of Education:

  • Graduate of Forsyth High School

Summary of Employment History:

  • I have been employed by Taney County since 1999 and will celebrate my 21st year in October.
I began work for the County Clerk, then in January of 2002 when we became a first class county I transitioned to the Auditor’s office where I have been ever since. Over the year some of my duties have included accounts payable, payroll, employee benefits, and inventory management for all county offices. I currently serve as deputy auditor where I assist with internal audits and the county budget. I am also the card administrator for the county’s purchase and fuel cards.

Why Are You Running For Office?

First and foremost I care about people and what happens to them. I feel everyone deserves to have someone in their corner to advocate for them and help them have the best quality of life possible. I also believe everyone should be treated with respect, compassion, and kindness while maintaining as much of their dignity as possible no matter what their circumstances. I am more than qualified to help with their finances and I also have experience dealing with medical issues, Medicare, and insurance.
